01. The Campaign

With Samsung Connect, encouraging messages from people who care can ignite dreams of kids who need. This is Samsung Vietnam’s brand campaign of the year 2017.

Samsung Connect is an online platform that establishes a new way of donation. Instead of money and items, it allows users to send encouraging messages to kids with special needs. Samsung company will then convert messages collected from users into real gifts that help kids pursue their dreams.

UX

I designed the user journey, sitemap, interaction, and detailed wireframes of the platform.

UI

I was in charge of the overall art direction and the final interface on both desktop and mobile devices.

Testing

I worked side by side with the developers to test and improve the app constantly after its launching.

02. Desktop Experience

As Samsung Connect is a web application, it runs smoothly on both PC and mobile devices. Below are some UI screens of the platform shown on desktop.

03. Mobile Solutions

Samsung Connect is a mobile-first platform designed to run best on cellphone products. It provides an app-like interaction experience and can connect with Samsung smartwatches to push out real-time notifications.

04. Impact

Within 3 months, the campaign gained 2-million visits to its Samsung Connect platform, 17.000 new users, 14.000 user messages, 200 personalised gifts to kids with special needs, and it successfully sponsored 55 kids’ futures.

The campaign also won the SMARTIES™ Bronze price awarded by MMA Vietnam (Mobile Marketing Association), one of the most wellknown and trustworthy prizes within the Advertising industry.
